Klipora Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information the Klipora app (Android package com.arsin.videomaker, and the iOS app of the same name) collects, why, and the choices you have. Klipora is published by Akaydigital LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, New Mexico, United States ("we", "us"). Contact: info@akaydigital.net.
1. Summary
- Your photos, videos and music stay on your device. Klipora edits and exports videos on your phone. We do not upload or receive them.
- No account. You never sign in, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- We use a few service providers (Google Firebase and Google AdMob) to keep the app working, measure how it is used and show ads. They receive technical data such as device identifiers and app usage, not your photos.
- You can turn off usage analytics in Settings › Share usage statistics. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland you choose about ads in Settings › Privacy options.
- Klipora is free to use with ads, and offers Klipora Pro, an optional subscription bought through Google Play. Ads are shown only after a video is saved, and never to Pro subscribers.
2. Information we do not collect
- Photos, videos and music you pick: they are opened with your phone's own picker and processed on the device. Klipora does not ask for access to your whole photo library.
- Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, precise location or browsing history.
- The text you type into your videos.
3. Information collected when you use the app
| Data | Collected by | Why | Shared |
|---|---|---|---|
| App interactions (for example "template opened", "export finished"); these events never contain your photos, text or personal details | Firebase Analytics; AdMob for ad interactions | Understand which features work, fix problems, improve the app; measure ads | Ad interactions with Google for advertising |
| Crash reports and diagnostics (device model, OS version, app version, screen name, export settings and duration) | Firebase Crashlytics; AdMob SDK diagnostics | Find and fix crashes and slow exports; ad delivery | AdMob diagnostics with Google |
| Device and app identifiers: the Support ID created by the app, the Firebase app instance ID, and on Android the advertising ID | Firebase, AdMob | Measure how the app is used, download app settings, match crash reports, measure and deliver ads, prevent fraud | The advertising ID with Google for advertising |
| Purchase information: which plan you chose and whether a purchase started, succeeded, was cancelled or restored; never the price, order number, your Google account, card or payment details | Google Play Billing, on your device; Firebase Analytics only when usage statistics are on (optional), not linked to your name, email or Google account | Unlock Pro on your device and restore purchases; understand which plans are used | No |
| Approximate location derived from your IP address (country or city level, not GPS) | AdMob | Show ads suitable for your region, prevent fraud | With Google for advertising |
The Support ID is a random 28-character code that Klipora creates on your phone the first time you open it. It is not linked to your name or email, and we cannot use it to tell who you are. The app shows it in Settings › Support ID. When usage statistics are on, the same ID is attached to analytics events and crash reports, so we can find your data when you contact us; when they are off, it is not sent and stays on your phone. If you reinstall the app, a new ID is created. The Firebase app instance ID is a separate random code created by Firebase.
Emails you send us. If you use "Send feedback", your own email app opens and you decide what to send. We receive your email address and message only if you send it, and we use them only to reply.
4. Advertising
- Ads are shown only after a video finishes exporting. There are no ads in the photo picker, editor, preview, templates list or home screen. Klipora Pro subscribers see no ads.
- Android: Google AdMob may use your advertising ID and IP address to show and measure ads. Outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland ads may be personalized. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads).
- iOS: Klipora does not ask for permission to track you and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). Ads on iOS are not personalized, and we do not combine your data with other companies' data for tracking.
- EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: before ads are loaded, a consent form from Google (User Messaging Platform) asks for your choice. Without your consent, ads are not personalized and analytics run in a limited mode (Google Consent Mode v2). You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy options.
- How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
5. Your analytics switch
Settings › Share usage statistics turns off Firebase Analytics events and Crashlytics crash reports from this device. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it is off until you agree in the consent form (section 4) or turn it on yourself. Everywhere else it is on, and you can turn it off at any time. Your own choice always applies. The switch does not turn off ads. Data collected by AdMob for ads (section 4) follows your ad choices instead.
6. Legal bases (EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland and Türkiye)
- Consent for personalized ads, ad measurement cookies and analytics storage where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app.
- Contract to provide the app and its features when you use it.
- Legitimate interests in keeping the app secure and working (crash reports, fraud prevention) and in non-personalized ads that pay for the free app.
- For users in Türkiye, this policy also serves as the information notice under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
7. Service providers
These companies process data for the purposes above under their own terms:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config, which downloads app settings such as how often ads appear): https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Billing: Klipora Pro is bought and paid for only through Google Play. There is no third-party payment processor or intermediary. Google handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never receive your card or payment details, only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro.
- Google Play and the Apple App Store deliver the app under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except as described here or when the law requires it.
8. How long we keep data
- Analytics events at user level: 2 months, then deleted. Totals without identifiers (for example "exports per day") may be kept longer.
- Crash reports: 90 days.
- Feedback emails: until the issue is solved, at most 2 years.
- Files on your device: until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes Klipora's projects and settings from the device; videos you saved to your gallery stay there.
9. AI features (when available)
AI features that run in the cloud are not part of the current version. If we add them, this section will be updated before they are switched on, and:
- the app will ask for your permission before any photo leaves your device;
- the photo you choose is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and to an AI service provider that processes it for us;
- the source photo is deleted within 24 hours, the result within 7 days, and an output you report within 30 days;
- your photos are never used to train AI models;
- every AI result has a "Report" button.
10. Children
Klipora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country (for example 16 in some EU countries), ask a parent or guardian before using the app. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, KVKK in Türkiye, LGPD in Brazil, or US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority.
Because Klipora has no accounts, we cannot find your data by your name or email. To make a request, email info@akaydigital.net and include the support ID shown in Settings › Support ID. To have your data deleted, send us this ID: we use it to find and delete the analytics events and crash reports linked to it. You can also:
- turn off analytics in Settings › Share usage statistics;
- change ad choices in Settings › Privacy options (EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland) or your phone's ad settings;
- uninstall the app, which stops all collection from that device.
We answer within 30 days. We do not treat you differently for using your rights.
12. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Transfers from Türkiye follow Article 9 of KVKK.
13. Security
All data the app sends is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Only the people who run the app can see the service provider dashboards. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect as little as possible to keep the risk low.
14. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the effective date above. For important changes (for example a new kind of data, or the AI features in section 9) we also tell you in the app before the change applies.
